COTTON PICKIN TIME

On our ride home from visiting Casa Grande, we passed by various interesting agricultural areas.  ( sure can tell we are getting old, since the flora and fauna are of interest to us now:o)))

I saw a field of bushes about 3 feet high with white blobs all over the branches.......stopped for a look and it was a field of cotton growing.  Neither of us northerners had ever seen cotton grow so we found it interesting and will now share some "cotton" photos with you.  I know how excited you all are about this but please just humour the old folks........:o))))))

A 20 foot long, 6 foot high compressed load of picked cotton.  The fields were lined with them.  All the cotton had to be harvested before January 30th when the field was then ploughed under for another crop.
